BoBunny July 2016 challenge fun

More BoBunny fun!
I used the Bobunny July sketch challenge for inspiration and motivation to get further on a scrapbook I am working on.
Here is the sketch

Here is my scrapbook page.

I used BoBunny Sleigh Ride papers Pinecones and Aspen and a few miscellaneous items like chipboard stickers and jewels from the Snowfall collection 4 years ago.  One of the reasons I love BoBunny is that some of their new collections coordinate well with past collections - giving you even more options for paper-crafting fun.  Scraps never need to go to waste.  I also had fun with Bobunny copper glitter paste and a stencil.  Another reason I love BoBunny is their awesome education - I loved the online blog class and created two books from their Snowfall class 4 years ago.
Thanks Bobunny, for the chance to win.

June 2016 BoBunny Sketch Challenge

BoBunny creates such beautiful papers and embellishments!  They also have sketch challenge this month.  Here is the link to the challenge.  Here is the sketch -

I decided to play with some of the flowery Madeleine papers.  I altered the sketch a bit because I wanted to keep the beautiful floral highlights on the Madeleine Charms pages visible and also use the frames on the Madeleine Allure page.  Madeleine Stripe was the fourth paper I used.

Thanks BoBunny for the beautiful paper and for the chance to win more fabulous new BoBunny items!

Summer of Creative Chemistry Fun

Tim Holtz and Online Card Classes have teamed up for a summer of fun.  Tim Holtz previously had Creative Chemistry 101 and 102.  In August a new class Creative Chemistry 103 will debut.  The  classes are reopened.  I took the independent classes earlier, and now the forums and galleries are open and Tim is answering questions.  I highly recommend it if you have not signed up before.  I also really like the month long format.
The month of June is Creative Chemistry 101.  We are in Week 3 and focusing on Paint and Perfect Pearls.  I do not own Perfect Pearls yet, so would love to win the prize that includes them.

This week I am playing with the Dabber Resist technique.  Join the class to figure out how it's done.
I love how the distress stains blend and create so many colors!

This Crazy Cats tag I played with Candied Apple, Mermaid Lagoon and Carved Pumpkin Distress spray stains.

Here I played with the Botanical Sketch stamp and Mermaid Lagoon and Carved Pumpkin Distress spray stains and Twisted Citron Distress stain.

Compendium of Curiosities Challenge #31

The new Compendium of Curiosities Challenge #31 uses Layering Stencil Paint Resist found on page 47 of Tim's Compendium of Curiosities Vol. III. I don't use stencils and paint often and I've only tried this technique once before in a class, so this is very experimental. I bought a couple of Distress Paints recently, so I thought I'd see what I could do. For more experimentation, I decided to use the newest set of distress ink mini (set #13) - and oh - it was so much fun! I was excited to see the bright colors on Tim's blog, and then I started blending them and I am giddy with delight! I LOVE these colors! I love the colors they create when blended! I used Twisted Citron, Abandoned Coral, Mermaid Lagoon and Fossilized Amber.  Four different stencils were used in this card.

This is a great challenge blog! It's a fun way to work through all the different ideas in Tim Holtz's Compendium of Curiosities #3 book. I recommend you click the first link above and see all of the CC3 teams great projects.

This week's sponsors are Inspiration Emporiumwho has donated a generous $50 gift certificate to a randomly chosen winner, and Tim and Mario who donated a bunch of goodies to the winner of the Curiosity team's choice.
