I'm joining in on the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge #26.  I just discovered this challenge blog and love it!  It's a great way to work through the great ideas in Tim Holtz's Compendium of Curiosities #3 book.  I recommend you click the link above and see all of their great projects.

Here is my project using smudge stamping. I used the following inks. frayed burlap for the bird, salty ocean for the feather, gathered twigs for the nest and Victorian velvet and walnut stain for the background.

It is sponsored by the Funkie Junkie Boutique.  They have a fabulous $25.00 prize for a rnndom winner.  Wouldn't it be great to win - they have fun stuff!  There is also a prize from Tim and Mario for the Curiosity Crew's choice prize.  Join in - this challenge was fun.
